M5 Tiverton junction 27
(approx 50 miles by road)
We are about I hour from junction 27 on the M5. Just take the A361 to Barnstaple and continue on the A39 to Bideford and Bude.
About 10 miles after Bideford you will come to Clovelly Cross mini roundabout, which is about 20 mins from Bude. Turn down to Clovelly on the B3237 and take the 1st right to Burscott (also a brown tourist B&B's sign).
You will find Pillowery Park is the 5th house on the right.
South West Coast Path
(approx 1 mile walking)
At the top of Clovelly street, take the path going up between the Hobby drive (coast path) and the tarmac path up to the visitor centre. This takes you up to Wrinkleberry and the school where, just after the cottages, there is a footpath going across the fields over the style on the left.
Go up the hill, over the 2nd style, keeping parallel with the hedge on your right and go over the 3rd & 4th styles. At the road (Burscott) turn right, walk up the hill and we are the 4th house on the left. It will take about 15 mins.
Walking on the coast Path
If you are holidaying on the wonderful South West Coast Path....
We are about 6 hours from Westward Ho! and 5 hours from Hartland Quay.

Chris and Sylvia will be happy to help you organise your walk and will pick you up from the path at Clovelly and take you back down for your meal in the evening if you wish.
From further afield
By road from London city and airports
London Heathrow airport is around 4 hours away on the M4 and M5 to junction 27 and Tiverton.
London Gatwick airport will take you about 5 hours on the M23, M25, A303, A358 and M5 to Tiverton junction 27.
Then follow the road directions above.
By road from local airports
Bristol International is about 2 hours on the A38 to the M5 in the Taunton and Exeter direction to junction 27 and Tiverton.
Exeter International is around 1 1/4 hours on the M5 to Tiverton junction 27.
Then follow the above road directions.
Newquay Cornwall airport is a 1 1/4 hours drive on the A3059 to the A39 towards Bude and Bideford to Clovelly Cross and the B2327.
By public transport
The nearest railway station is in Barnstaple on the Tarka line from Exeter - the main line from London and the rest of the network. The travel time to Barnstaple is around one hour from Exeter.
Local buses stop outside the railway station and route 319 runs to Clovelly and Hartland via Bideford. This journey will take about 1 1/4 hours to the end of our road, just 200 metres from Pillowery Park.
